Imitation Crab Soup Recipe
I posted this Cream of Crab Soup recipe using imitation crab meat a while back but wanted to post it again since the weather is starting to turn cooler and a hot soup will go wonderfully with your dinner!
I’ve been making this Crab Recipe for many years especially since it’s inexpensive and very easy to make – the hardest part is simply peeling the potato!
This is a great way to turn an ordinary can of soup into dinner 🙂

This Cream of Crab Soup is so simple to make – Just 4 ingredients plus salt & pepper! Recipe is adapted from Taste of Home.
This was good. However, like most, I made a few modifications.
First, I sauteed the potatoes along with diced onions and red bell peppers. I then followed the recipe but used whole milk, used a can of Progresso clam chowder and added marjoram and oregani. I also used 12 oz. of imitation crab. It was delicious.
I don’t mean to seem like I commandeered the recipe… just made modifications to suit my tastes.
This was good but I didn’t want to mess with peeling potatoes so I sautéed up some onion, red bell pepper and the crab meat with some potato gnocchi in butter/ olive oil mix. Used the half and half then progressing clam chowder soup. Very good!
