I got my Checkout 51 Deposit Already!!

checkout 51

I told you guys about  Checkout 51 yesterday and wanted to give you an update.  I ran to Kroger earlier in the day yesterday and bought milk along with some other items I needed so I was able to submit my receipt to get $1 back for the milk and $2 back for spending over $20.  The Checkout 51 money was in my account by the time I went to bed!

One thing I like about Checkout 51 BETTER than I like about ibotta App is that I don’t have to share on Facebook, tweet, take polls etc. to activate the offer.

How Checkout 51 works

  1. Browse your offers and buy products at any store.
  2. Upload your receipt using Checkout 51.
  3. We’ll confirm your purchase and credit your account.
  4. When your account reaches $20, you can cash out and we’ll mail a check your way.
  5. Using our mobile app? Our designer came up with this pretty How It Works guide to show you how it’s done. You can also skip right to the photo-taking tips!

Key guidelines

  1. Offers go live on Thursdays at 12:00 AM in each time zone. They expire the following Wednesday at 11:59 PM in each time zone. You must submit the receipts while the offers are live.
  2. Offers are available in limited quantities. Please check your offer list before you go shopping to ensure that the offer is still available, and upload the receipt immediately after purchase to avoid disappointment.
  3. A quantity of (1) of each offer is eligible for cash back per member.
  4. Each receipt can only be used once.
  5. We can only give cash back for the exact product listed, so please read carefully.
  6. You are permitted to use Checkout 51 cash back offers with any other coupon or discount unless otherwise stated.
  7. Products must be purchased in your country of registration. (We currently support the United States and Canada, excluding Quebec.)
  8. Receipts submitted must be in English.
  9. Items purchased from online retailers are eligible for cash back. Packing slips are accepted as proof of purchase. Online purchases are subject to the same submission timelines as receipts.

  1. I got my deposit within a few hours yesterday, love the app! I don’t use iBotta because of the forced sharing, so I really hope Checkout 51 remains a viable alternative and doesn’t go that route.

  2. I don’t mind the sharing aspect of Ibotta because my posts by/from them are all set to *private*, so they don’t show up on my wall for others to see 🙂

  3. I don’t mind sharing on Facebook but I don’t use twitter very often (LadySaving’s post go automatically there) so I’m never logged in on my phone so it was a pain to log-in and tweet it 🙂 I know twitter is becoming more popular than Facebook (especially with teens!) but I just don’t get it quite yet!
