My son is graduating from high-school this year and will be heading to college in the fall. I know how expensive books can be since he took college classes this year as a senior in high-school.
For his first semester I tried to shop around for the best deal on books and it ended up being a pain…I spent a lot of time comparing prices and then one of his books didn’t arrive until the day AFTER his class started so he had to run into the book store and buy another copy of the book! I was able to send the original book back and get my money….but it was still a pain.
Anyway, this Boundless Ad caught my eye as an alternative to buying all of his books! Once my son knows what books he needs, I will be checking more into this to see if they have those books available. You do not need a Kindle to get these FREE books. According to their website, you can download then on many devices!
Right now you can enter for a chance to win a Kindle HD Fire! Watch a quick video on how Boundless offers students Free Texbooks. Do a quick True or False Triva and then sign-up for a FREE Boundless Account (I signed up with facebook to make it quicker!).

When I was in college, I used http://www.allbookstores.com or http://www.bestwebbuys.com to find the best prices on my textbooks (usually much cheaper than the college bookstores). Also, many colleges have classroom textbooks at their libraries (sometimes on reserve only).
Thanks Emily! I am emailing myself those links now so I can check them out when my son get’s his book list.
