Call me Crazy…..but I just searched thru the Giant Eagle facebook page and had to scroll back thru the comments of fans all the way to November 14th to find where Giant Eagle stated that a Family Dollar $3/$15 Printable Coupon should be accepted at All stores! Whew….that was a LOT of scrolling (there may have been an easier way to search that I didn’t know about – haha)
Anyway, for those that have had trouble using the $3/$15 Family Dollar Coupon that I posted on Valentine’s Day, I would call customer service and let them know the store that you shop at.
For future use, I would print Giant Eagle’s reply on Facebook or take a screenshot on your phone so you will have it when you are shopping. If the cashier or manager refuses to let you use a $3/$15 Family Dollar Coupon, you could show them what the Giant Eagle team said on facebook : )

They gave me a problem on Friday night. I hate having an issue like that because I like having a good relationship with the managers. It turned into a 5 minute ordeal with the line backing up LOL. Anyway, she ends up saying going forward we cannot accept these so I had to get her manager so she knew that was not the policy. It was a hassle but now she knows and they all know me now forever LOL. Those are my favorite coupons! Thanks for the head’s up!
They just answered a question regarding this on FB with the following reply: We’re sorry—thanks for letting us know. The coupon should have been accepted. Please call Customer Care at 1-800-553-2324 so we may follow up with you directly. Thank you.
Please help. How about a Dollar General $5/$25. Can I use that coupon?
I would say that you can. Dollar General isn’t much different than Family Dollar. Today is the last day for that coupon though…..and I forgot to give it to my hubby

I called customer service and they apologized. I will recieve a gift card! I also asked about Dollar General $5/$25 coupon and got answer that we can use it if it was from the paper, not internet printed.

THANK GOD! I tried to use it too and the asshats at the store tried to argue with me!
I use the $5/$25 DG coupon every week at my GE! They used to take up to 12 as long as the total amount was correct. Now they will only take one per customer. My GE is very coupon friendly. They have even taken BJ’s coupons before! I am even allowed to use the occasional $10/$50 CVS ECB!
