I wish I had a clear answer as to whether people have success in freezing these while still in the package – can anyone help out?

I have frozen the rolls many of times. Just make sure you poke a hole in the container when you take them out of the freezer to defrost so they don’t explode.

I have frozen these as well. I just put the can in the freezer and let thaw in the refrigerator for several hours. I have had one explode in the freezer, sounded like a gun shot, but it didn’t make that big of a mess. That has only happened one time so far. The taste the same too. You could always bake them and then freeze Amy, if your worried about them popping open.

I recall from a previous post SOMEWHERE that Pillsbury Corporate responded that you should not freeze raw, but bake/freeze works great.
