Are you heading out with your kids to get some more school shopping done?  Be sure to print coupons for their favorite stores before heading out!  Some stores will allow you to show them the coupon on your smartphone while others want the actual coupon.

Also, don’t be afraid to ask the cashier if they have any coupons available right now.  If you are already on their email list but forgot the coupon (or didn’t realize they had a current one), they sometimes will scan one that they have at the register (If you’re lucky!).  I did this at Delia’s this week – I am signed up with them since I always get their mailings, but must have forgot/lost the coupon.  After letting the cashier know that I do get their coupons but didn’t have it with me she grabbed a 20% off coupon and scanned it …..WooHoo – I saved $8 just by asking
