I have seen these with mail in rebate hang tags about a week ago. Not sure if “try me free” rebates work with coupons, but it’d be even better!
I just bought two of these and didn’t realize I got a $1 cat too! Wish I would have used all my printables there instead of Walmart. =(

I tried this deal today and customer service refused me, even after I showed they coupon policy stated “Coupon value cannot exceed the price of the item(s) purchased. If it does, we can only redeem up to the value of the item(s) purchased. (Excluding sales tax)”. I sent an email to Giant Eagle customer service to see if they could help rectify the situation.
That’s crazy that they gave you a hard time about this deal:( I used my Bayer $3/1 coupon on the $2.99 Bayer a few days ago and it was fine.
Luckily I have 2 stores within a few miles apart. I’m heading to the other one this afternoon to try it there. It’s a fairly new store so they know the policies much better.
Found out that the $1 ONYO catalina prints when you buy 1 of them. So if you are getting your 12 then do them separately. So I bought 12 with my advantage card and 12 with a friend so I have 24 $1 onyo’s. (Customer service said they work as regular coupons 12 per transaction.) So in other words Giant Eagle just paid me $24 to leave their store.
