I went in the store in Avon Lake this morning and they had a disclaimer sign posted saying the instant discount on the Betty Crocker is only $2. Have you heard this anywhere else?

I shop at the North Olmsted Giant Eagle and as I was stocking up on the fruit snacks, one of the cashiers walked by me and said that the ad was a misprint but until they print a retraction they will override the price to the $4 off (or $1 a box when you buy 4). But, when I went to check out, it did take the $4 off 4. On another note, I purchased 8 of the Coffee Mate Creamer (shelf price of $20) and did not get the $5 onyo. So, in my store they are not working off of the shelf price with that offer. I don’t know, I think each store might be different.
I tried the fruit snacks in Elyria and there was a note by them that said it was a misprint in the ad–only $2 would come off. When I checked out that’s what came off so kinda bummed about that!

Carly, I bought Betty Crocker ones, and it automatically came off at the register…noone had to override anything. That was around 11 Am.
I bought some “regular” BC fruit snacks, as well as some Ocean Spray ones. They all rang up automatically with the $4 discount. With four kids, we go through LOTS of fruit snacks, and the 4 boxes of FREE Ocan Spray ones made my day!
