CLICK BELOW FOR TIPS ON BUYING PAPERS!

******

A few tips for buying newspapers if you are new to couponing:
*Look thru the papers or ask the cashier which papers have the inserts before buying – it’s not always the “bigger” paper that has more coupons.  You would think the the Pittsburgh Post Gazette that costs $1.50 would have more than the Washington Observer that costs $1, but it doesn’t!

*Decide how many papers you want based on the coupons that are available.  I have been getting between 4 and 8 papers recently depending on the coupons.

*Timesaver* – Once looking over the coupons make up your mind on how many you want (I’m writing this down so I will listen to my own advice – I usually look over the coupons many times – and on Sunday I have to look one more time to decide how many papers I want…..then I get mad at myself for wasting time!-lol)

*Double check the papers to make sure nobody swiped the inserts out and left the papers – Thanks Isabelle!

*Having trouble finding the Redplum insert??  Go HERE to find out what papers (if any) in your area has it!

*Can’t find the Observer Reporter?  Go Here to Find out where they are located! (Thanks, Shannon S.!)

*Remember that if you buy your papers at Rite Aid that your 10% or 20% discount applies!  This adds up when your buying multiple papers!

For Locals to Pittsburgh Area:
Observer Reporter will have the Redplum P&G, and the Smartsource when they are available, but the SmartSource doesn’t have as many coupons as the PPG does($1)
Pittsburgh Post Gazette will only have the Smartsource when available (not the Redplum or PG) but it will have many coupons. ($1.50)Recently the PPG DID get the P&G Insert – YaY! (This may just be in certain areas – Thanks, Lisa!)
Tribune Review seems to have just the Smartsource as well (not the Redplum or PG) and it’s a big one just the the PPG.

For anyone closer to Sharon, PA, a lot of the times the Pittsburgh papers won’t have the PG inserts, but The Herald almost always has them!
